Dough-Boy is a rapper & music producer. He has performed in countless shows in Asia including Hong Kong, China, Macau and Malaysia.
In 2013, he co-wrote and rapped on the official soundtrack for the renowned & rewarded Hong Kong film- The Way We Dance 《狂舞派》 and won an award for “Best New Media Artiste” at the Metro Radio Awards in 2014, and the Best Original Movie Soundtrack in 33th Hong Kong Film Awards for the film’s theme song 《狂舞吧》. Also the song 《一針一生》 that he produced for Guangzhou rap group – Chillgun and LMF member – MC Yan was the top of the Guangzhou radio station FM102.7 charts and last for 8 weeks long.
DoughBoy also produces music for film and television. He produced the theme song for TVB Astro’s Award Show in 2014. He also produced and written the song “Ally” with Jill Vidal which was included in the movie “One Night In Taipei”.
He is the first and only rapper/producer to be invited to perform and give a talk for Apple, at the new Apple Store in Canton Road.
Starting from 2015, he has been working on Taiwan’s MJ116, MC Hotdog and A-Yue’s new project. He is currently producing for LMF/24Herbs’ Phat, Kit and actor Sam Lee new group “MonkeyMen”
His latest release is Guangzhou rap group Prosa’s album “Dope $hit”.
